Hello, I am Louisiana artist Bonnie Camos. I enjoy exploring a variety of media including acrylic, watercolor, encaustic and oil monotypes, linocut and mixed media collage. My curious nature combined with a love of art in all its forms, has led to the diverse body of works viewed here. Living in southwest Louisiana, surrounded by centuries old oak trees, sugarcane fields, marshes, and bayous filled with incredible colors has given me a keen awareness of nature in all its richness. There is no shortage of inspiration or subject matter from which to choose.
My artist’s statement is simple…
I do what I do, because I love it and it is fun.
